Abstract

Korean culture or commonly referred to as Korean Wave or Hallyu includes K-pop, K-beauty, K-fashion, Korean language and literature, Culinary, etc. It has spread widely in Indonesia along with the development of globalization. Korean Wave brings many impacts to life. No exception to the negative impact on people's lives, especially in the field of education. One of the negative impacts here is decreased learning activities, the attitude of dependence and fanaticism of fans of Korean Wave content, and many more. This study aims to determine the extent of the negative impact of Korean Wave on education, especially Nurul Jadid University students and how the role of the Guardian Lecturer in addressing this with the aim of preventing the spread and reducing the impact that has occurred.
