PENGARUH ENTREPRENEURIAL ORIENTATION DAN MARKET ORIENTATION TERHADAP BUSINESS PERFORMANCE PADA UMKM DI MADURA

Abstract

UMKM di Indonesia belum dapat berkembang maksimal dikarenakan beberapa hal, yang paling relevan di berbagai situasi adalah ketatnya persaingan. Persaingan memaksa setiap usaha menjadi kompetitif untuk menunjang keberhasilan beradaptasi usaha tersebut dengan lingkungan luar. Untuk menghadapi masalah tersebut, beberapa penelitian menyatakan bahwa UMKM membutuhkan Market Orientation dan Entrepreneurial Orientation untuk menjalankan usahanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) dan Market Orientation (MO) mempengaruhi Business Performace (BP). Objek penelitian ini adalah pelaku UMKM di Kec. Kamal, Kab. Bangkalan. Teknik sampling menggunakan accidental sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan uji regresi linear berganda menggunakan SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah variabel Entrepreneurial Orientation berpengaruh terhadap Business Performance dengan t hitung 2,704 serta tingkat signifikansi menunjukkan angka 0,008<0,05. Variabel Market Orientation  tidak berpengaruh terhadap Business Performance dengan t hitung 1,238 dan signifikansi 0,203>0,05. Variabel Entrepreneurial Orientation dan Market Orientation  berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap Business Performance pada UMKM di Madura dengan signifikansi 0,013 < 0,05 dan nilai f hitung > f tabel yaitu 4,517 > 3,093.
