EFEKTIVITAS SISTEM MANAJEMEN BAZNAS DALAM MENINGKATKAN TRANSPARANSI PENGELOLAAN ZAKAT DI KOTA PROBOLINGGO

Abstract
This research describes the effectiveness of the management system of the National Zakat Amil Agency (BAZNAS) in Probolinggo City in increasing the transparency of zakat management. Zakat, as a form of worship that has a strategic role in the economy, requires good management to optimize its utilization. The aim of this research is to show the effectiveness of SIMBA in managing zakat, supporting factors in managing zakat, infaq and alms BAZNAS in the city of Probolingo. By using a qualitative approach and data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation, this research found that the implementation of the BAZNAS Management Information System (SIMBA) contributed significantly to the transparency and accountability of zakat management. The results of the analysis show that although there are supporting factors such as adequate infrastructure, BAZNAS also faces challenges, especially regarding the stability of internet connections. This research recommends increasing socialization and use of information technology as a step to empower the community and increase the effectiveness of zakat management in the region.
