PERAN BADAN USAHA MILIK DESA (BUMDES) DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT MENURUT PERSPEKTIF EKONOMI ISLAM

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of BUMDes Makmur Sejahtera in improving the welfare of the people of Pongangan Village, Manyar District, Gresik Regency. The method used in the study is a qualitative method by collecting data in the field and using observation, interview, and documentation techniques on the people of Pongangan Village and the management of BUMDes Makmur Sejahtera. The results of the study indicate that BUMDes Makmur Sejahtera has a role in improving the welfare of the community through the business units it runs. The community feels satisfied because of the existence of BUMDes in helping to get jobs, increase income, and meet their needs.

BUMDes Makmur Sejahtera has fulfilled the principles of Islamic economics in running its business units by implementing the principles of justice, responsibility, truth/honesty, balance and freedom of will.
