Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

GUIDELINES OF ARTICLES WRITING

Articles submitted to Humanistika's editors: The Journal of Islamic thought must follow the following technical provisions:

  1. Articles is a conceptual paper or research results in the field of Islamic thought, Islamic researches, and the thought of Islamic Scholar.
  2. Articles are authentic works and have not been published in other scientific (periodical) journals.
  3. The article is written in English with a space of 1,15 cm on A4 paper with Times New Roman font size 11 written font 23-15 pages long, 4.000 words and a maximum of 8.000 words
  4. Include abstract in English maximum 250 words written with one paragraph, on each abstract followed by keyword (keyword).
  5. The name of the author of the article (without an academic degree, position, or rank) shall be attached with correspondence address, email address, and or telephone or mobile phone number.
  6. References must be written with APA style, using reference management tool such Mendeley or Zotero.
