Every manuscript submitted to Humanistika: Jurnal Keislaman is independently reviewed by at least one or two reviewers in the form of "double-blind review". Reviewers are unaware of the identity of the authors, and authors are also unaware of the identity of reviewers. Reviewing process will consider objectivity, method, scientific impact, conclusion, and references. Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation.

1.  The novelty of the topic
2.  Originality
3.  Scientific reliability
4.  A valuable contribution to the science
5.  Adding new aspects to the existed field of study
6.  Ethical aspects
7.  Structure of the article submitted and its relevance to authors’ guidelines
8.  References provided to substantiate the content
9.  Grammar, punctuation, and spelling
10. Scientific misconduct
