2. Initial Editorial Review

  • The Editor-in-Chief or an assigned editor assesses the manuscript’s quality and determines whether it meets the basic publication standards.
  • Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements are either rejected or sent back to authors for revisions before peer review.

3. Double-Blind Peer Review

  • The manuscript is assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
  • In the double-blind review process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an unbiased evaluation.

4. Reviewer Evaluation

Reviewers assess the manuscript based on the following criteria:

  • Originality and contribution to the field of education.
  • Clarity of research objectives and methodology.
  • Appropriateness of data analysis and interpretation.
  • Relevance of findings to educational theory and practice.
  • Clarity, coherence, and organization of writing.

5. Reviewer Recommendations

  • Accepted without revision – The manuscript is ready for publication.
  • Accepted with minor revisions – Authors must revise and resubmit the manuscript.
  • Accepted with major revisions – Authors need significant revisions and may undergo a second round of review.
  • Rejected – The manuscript does not meet the journal’s quality or scope.

6. Author Revisions

  • Authors receive reviewer feedback and are given a deadline to submit a revised version.
  • Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated by reviewers or editors to ensure the required improvements are made.

7. Final Decision

  • The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision based on reviewer recommendations and the quality of revisions.
  • The decision (Accepted, Rejected, or Requires Further Revision) is communicated to the authors.

8. Copyediting and Proofreading

  • Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting and proofreading to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to journal formatting.
  • Authors may be asked to review and approve final edits.
