Author Guidelines

At-Ta’lim: Jurnal Pendidikan welcomes high-quality research articles, literature reviews, and conceptual papers in the field of education. Authors must follow these guidelines when preparing their manuscripts for submission.

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
  • Articles must be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English using clear, concise, and academic language.
  • Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • The manuscript length should be between 4,000 to 7,000 words, including references.

2. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts must follow this structure:

a. Title Page

  • The title should be concise, informative, and no more than 15 words.
  • Include the full names of all authors, their affiliations, and email addresses.
  • The corresponding author should be clearly indicated.

b. Abstract

  • Written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (150–250 words).
  • The abstract should summarize the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Include 3-5 keywords separated by commas.

c. Introduction

  • Explain the background, research problem, objectives, and significance of the study.
  • Cite relevant literature to support the research rationale.

d. Literature Review (if applicable)

  • Provide a theoretical framework or discussion of previous research related to the topic.

e. Research Methodology

  • Describe the research design, participants, data collection techniques, and analysis methods.

f. Results and Discussion

  • Present research findings clearly, supported by tables, figures, or graphs.
  • Discuss the significance of the results and compare them with previous studies.

g. Conclusion

  • Summarize key findings and their implications for theory, practice, or future research.

h. References

  • Use the APA (7th edition) citation style.
  • Include only sources cited in the manuscript.

3. Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 line spacing.
  • Margins: 2.5 cm (1 inch) on all sides.
  • Headings: Use clear and consistent formatting for section headings.
  • Tables and Figures: Must be numbered and include captions.

4. Submission Process

  • Authors must submit manuscripts via the journal’s online submission system.
  • The editorial team will conduct a plagiarism check (maximum similarity index: 20%).
  • All submitted articles will undergo a double-blind peer review process.

5. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must ensure their work is free from plagiarism and properly cited.
  • All authors must have significant contributions to the research.
  • Any conflict of interest must be disclosed.

6. Copyright and Open Access

  • Articles published in At-Ta’lim: Jurnal Pendidikan are licensed under CC BY-SA (Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike).
  • Authors retain copyright but allow the journal to publish and distribute their work.
